Eolake, my favorite quote by Dag is "“Never measure a mountain until you have reached the top, then you will see how low it was”.
I read a book by or about him many years ago after he died, I believe, that contained many quotations by him. I've always remembered that thought, even after some fifty years or so.
He was a wise man.
