Eckhart Tolle

Interesting article by Eckhart Tolle.
I was not familiar with him, but he speaketh much sooth here.

Thinking about his book title, though: A New Earth... I've been very, very concerned with this myself most of my life. With saving the world and creating a great and spiritual civilization for the ages...

But I think we need to get beyond that. In The Disappearance Of The Universe, it is hinted a couple of times that we should not expect this civilization to be the final or eternal one, and that this fact is not important.

Sure, so long as we still have Guilt and Ego left, it hurts to think of big disasters and so on. But the thing is, the Big Mind is waking up. There is no way around that, it is done, time is an illusion. And it was done in the best way possible. It does not matter what happens in the world of form until the end. Because There Is No World. This is one of the absolute statements of ACIM.

"Seek not to change the world, but choose to change your mind about the world."
