Don’t resist, only un-believe

I just had a great realisation: the reason why the Course is only about Thought, not about Action...

 ... is because the point is NOT to RESIST the ego, it is to UN-BELIEVE the ego!

 In fact if you resist the ego too much, you may just reinforce your belief in it.

 The point is just to observe it as it’s happening, and watch the absurdity of it, thus gradually stopping believing in it.
