"Heaven is real"

Neurosurgeon says he visited heaven during a long coma.
There was several stages to his visit. The last one was: '"an immense void, completely dark, infinite in size, yet also infinitely comforting." He believes this void was the home of God.'

How very beautiful.

Who is he? I ask, only so I can ask for a second opinion in case I need neurosurgery and he's the one who'll be operating on my brain.

I can trust his theology, but I can no longer entirely trust him to perform surgery.

I wouldn't attach too much conclusions to such an experience. After all, they can be chemically generated, for example by consuming a sufficiently high dose of ketamine.
